Let’s learn together!
Junior Kinder is our class for 6-year olds. Here we explore a lot of the basics that students will need going forward. We build a strong base of English, phonics, and handwriting, as well as flavoring the class with other subjects to allow the students to get exposure to scientific ideas, basic math skills, and learning about the world around them.
Character education
Great character begins at a young age. We teach our Junior Kinder students how to be great members of the community and how to be good friends and classmates. By discussing our unique traits and differences, we can teach our children how to develop understanding and form deeper, more respectful bonds with one another.
A little bit of help
With our Junior Kinder students, we’re starting phonics, letter sounds, and sight words. Listening and mimicking sound goes a long way towards making sure that your child comes away with better speaking and listening skills as they continue to develop. Our smaller class sizes mean that teachers can spend more individual time with each student as they need help.
Let them lead
Letting our students develop their own confidence and social skills is important. Not everyone is comfortable standing up in front of a group, but letting them speak and letting them have their own voice from a young age is important. We do our best to let them have that voice and encourage everyone else to listen and respect each other.
